CMU officially announces transfer of Thomas Rawls

Central Michigan University announced former University of Michigan running back Thomas Rawls has transferred to the school in Mount Pleasant.

Rawls had a 4.6 yards per carry average in his three season with the Wolverines but found himself dropping on their depth chart.  Rawls is a graduate student who earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan so Rawls is eligible to play for the Chippewas immediately for one season.

Rawls will bolster a CMU offense that already returns its leading passer, rusher and receiver from last season’s 6-6 campaign.
