Radio News Director Accused of Having Marijuana with Intent to Sell

The news director of a Northern Michigan radio station in trouble with the law tonight, accused of having marijuana.

Steven Ruba was pulled over in Pere Marquette Township near Ludington Sunday.

That’s when police say they found 20 grams of marijuana in Ruba’s car, which was individually wrapped in seven baggies.

He is charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana.

Ruba is the News Director of Synergy Broadcasting, which includes radio station WLDN.
