Chrysler Recalls Nearly 700K Vehicles for Ignition Switch Problems
Another ignition switch recall has also been announced, this time, for about 690,000 Chrysler vehicles.
The recall includes Dodge Journey SUV’s, Dodge Grand Caravans, and Chrysler Town and Country mini-vans, made from 2007 to 2009.
The company says jarring road conditions, such as hitting a pothole, may cause the vehicle’s key to slip out of the “run” position.
This recall comes after the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration began investigating the issue because it had received complaints of the problem.
Chrysler says it’s not aware of any injuries related to the issue.
