Federal Judge In Detroit Bankruptcy Case Invited To Tour City

The federal judge in Detroit’s bankruptcy case was invited to tour the city but says he’s worried about his safety.

Judge Steven Rhodes suggested the date and time shouldn’t be publicly disclosed if he accepts the offer.

The city believes a tour would help him as he decides whether to approve a bankruptcy exit plan.

Creditors have until July 11 to vote on the plan, which includes thousands of pensioners who are looking at cuts.
