STAMP Teams up with BACN to Repair Homes

Volunteers are working on more than 20 Northern Michigan homes to make them a safer, warmer and drier place to live.

The Benzie Area Christian Neighbors and Saint Andrews Mission Program are teaming up to repair homes across Benzie and Northern Manistee County.

80 volunteers are working all week to repair homes.

The mission program will focus on windows, door replacement, insulation and other repairs.

They will also make sure each home is handicapped accessible and has a safe entrance.

“We get to fulfill our mission, you know, to serve God and serve neighbor. So we’re very happy to be able to do that and do it in such a visible way,” said Anne Hebert, Pastor at St. Andrews.

The goal is to repair 21 homes this week across the two counties.
