More Chrysler Recalls Due to Ignition Issues

Now Chrysler is in the spotlight over ignition issues with more than a million of it’s vehicles.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says the key could shut the engine off and cause air bags not to deploy in a crash.

32 drivers have complained about their 2006 and 2007 Jeep Commanders, and 2005 and 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokees.

They say the SUV’s turned off when they accidentally hit the ignition key with their knee.

The investigation is related to Chrysler’s recall of 2010 Dodge Journey, Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town and Country’s for a similar issue.

Owners of 2008-2009 models say they may also have the same ignition key problem.
