Helping Kids Heal With Pet Therapy

Loyal pups are lining up to help heal children around the nation.

The “American Humane Association” was just on Capitol Hill asking for money to pay for animal-assisted therapies.

In the past three decades, pet therapy programs have made significant advancements and have grown in popularity.

Dogs have to complete a physical, pass a monthly temperament test, a loud noise test, and a “pull” test, to see how they’d react if a child pulls on their tails.
