UPDATE: Everett Sentenced for Wexford County Attempted Larceny
A man who was questioned as part of a death investigation has been sentenced for stealing.
A judge sentenced Christopher Everett to 100 days in jail after he plead guilty to attempted larceny.
Police questioned Everett in connection to the death of James Strobel in March. That case was recently reopened.
While talking to Everett, police spotted stolen property from a break-in which happened that same morning in Cadillac.
Strobel disappeared in July in what appears to be a suicide. The investigation into his death is ongoing.
