MDCH Releases New Eat Safe Fish Guides

The ‘Eat Safe Fish Guides’ are based on the levels of chemicals in the animals taken from waterbodies around Michigan.

The state spent three years making the program. The guides are a free resources for residents who want more information on what fish and how much is healthy to eat from various Michigan waters.

The MDCH also updated its outreach plan to educate people about the guidelines.
