Bergdahl Returns to U.S. After Five Years in Taliban Captivity

Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl, who was freed from captivity last month, landed in the U.S. Friday morning.

Bergdahl arrived at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio early this morning.

He will work with mental and medical professionals while he is there.

He has been in a military hospital since being released in Afghanistan after five years in Taliban captivity.

Bergdahl is expected to continue recovering in San Antonio.

He was exchanged for five Taliban officials that were in U.S. captivity at Guantanamo bay.
