Beal City baseball reaches 5th semifinal in six years

For the fifth time in the last six years, Beal City baseball is heading to the Division 4 State Semifinals.  Ty Rollin pitched six shutout innings as the Aggies blanked Bay City All Saints 7-0 in a Div. 4 quarterfinal on Tuesday at Saginaw Valley State University.

Beal City will move on to play Kalamazoo Christian in the semis on Friday at 9 a.m. in East Lansing.

The Aggies are making their fifth trip to the semifinals in the last six years.  Beal City won back-to-back state titles in 2009 and 2010, were semifinalists in 2011 and runners-up in 2013.
