U.S. Employers Add More Jobs, Unemployment Rate Remains the Same

New unemployment numbers are raising hopes the economy can bounce back from a rough start to the year.

For the fourth month is a row, U.S. employers have added more than 200,000 jobs.

The nation’s unemployment rate remains at 6.3%. Michigan’s latest labor report put our state at 7.4%.

The U.S has now regained all of the jobs lost during the recession.

However, still there’s work to do. The U.S. population has grown 7% in the last five years and economists estimate another 7 million more jobs will need to be created to keep up with population growth.
