GM to Release Report on Deadly Ignition Recall

General Motors will issue a report into what went wrong in the delayed ignition recall.

The recall is linked to more than 2.5 million vehicles along with the deaths of 13 people in 47 crashes.

The Transportation Department says the automaker knew about the issues back in 2009, but did not issue the recall until early February this year.

CEO Mary Barra will issue the update Thursday morning from Warren.
