Michigan State Police Posts Welcome New Recruits

Eighty-two new State Police troopers graduated from the academy in Lansing, now many are making their new home in Northern Michigan.

The Cadillac post has three new recruits out of this class.

For 21 weeks, recruits go through mental, physical and psychological training in order to graduate.

A total of 115 recruits signed up for the 126th Trooper Recruit School but only 82 made it through and started their career as troopers this week.
