Drug Court Officer Pleads Guilty to Delivery of Vicodin

Luce and Mackinac county drug court employee faced a judge today and admitted to giving Vicodin to an undercover officer.

Straits Area Narcotics Enforcement says it all started a few months ago when they had a report that Steve Taylor offered someone Vicodin.

Today the drug court worker faced a judge, and pleaded guilty to a charge of delivery of a controlled substance.

The SANE Sting operation led to the arrest of Taylor. They say he delivered one vicodin pill. The prosecutor says even though he did not take money for it the charges are the same.

It’s a single count felony, meaning one instance of delivery. He could face up to 7 years in prison.
