Adopt a Pet Tuesday

Every Tuesday on Michigan This Morning we feature three pets in need of a loving home. This is our Adopt a Pet segment at the touchscreen.

Were starting off with Mia, a tabby mix. A family found her and her kittens living on the street during the winter time. They brought her in and all of her kittens have been adopted. Mia has been fixed and is ready for a new home. She is a little over weight and would love to get out of her cage and roam around. If you mention you that you saw her on 9 and 10 news you will get a reduction on her adoption fee. You can find her at the Benzie County Animal Shelter. The Benzie County Animal Shelter is located at 543 N Michigan Avenue in Beulah, next to the Sheriff’s Department.

Next we have Holly. She is a lab mix and is approximately seven years old. She is a calm and settled dog looking for a home. She loves to cuddle, go on hikes, play ball and lay in the sunshine. Holly is spayed, up to date on her shots and is house broken. You can adopt her from the Homeward Bound Animal Shelter in Manistee.

And last but not least we have Duke. He’s a very social dog that loves the outdoors. He’s about 8 years old and is a little scared of children but loves the older generation. Duke also loves other dogs and his foster mom says she loves being around him. Duke has a lot of life left to live. You can adopt him at Stephanie’s Animal Rescue in Lake City.
