Commercial Vehicles Inspected in Roadcheck 2014
Michigan State Police are joining more than 10,000 federal, state and local inspectors for Roadcheck 2014.
Officers from across the United States, Canada and Mexico will inspect commercial vehicles.
Their focus is on proper brake system maintenance and driver fatigue.
Roadchecks have inspected more than one million vehicles since the program started in 1988.
The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance says those inspections have helped avoid more than 4,000 injuries.
This years Roadcheck will run June 3rd through the 5th.
