Coast Guard Suspends Search for 2 Lost on Lake Michigan

A woman on a boat that capsized miles from Chicago’s shoreline has died after being pulled from Lake Michigan.

The U.S. Coast guard says crews are searching for as many as four other people.

The coast guard says a man rescued from the lake by a fisherman this morning is at a hospital suffering from hypothermia.

Officials say the lake water is 60 degrees and that the boaters were wearing flotation devices.

The boat was traveling between New Buffalo, Michigan, and the Chicago area.

The Coast Guard suspended the search for two people, Sunday night, in Lake Michigan about 7 miles off shore from the 31st Street Marina in Chicago.

A 30-year-old male and a 27-year-old female are still missing.The names of the boaters involved in this case are not being released by the Coast Guard
