Two Sentenced for NMC Stabbing, Robbery
Two more people involved in the stabbing of a man on Northwestern Michigan College’s campus have been sentenced.
Ashley Day received 4 to 15 years for assault with intent to rob.
Jorge Alvarado received 8 to 20 years for assault with intent to rob as a gang member, and another 8 to 15 years for unarmed robbery.
Police say the five people involved worked together to attempt to steal drugs they knew the stabbing victim was carrying.
