GM Delays Recall On Vehicles With A Faulty Brake Light System
General Motors continues to take hit after hit.
New documents show the automaker recalled cars to repair a faulty brake light system in 2009, but waited more than five years to recall over two million other cars that are nearly identical.
The automaker recalled about 8,000 Pontiac G6’s from the 2005 and 2006 model years.
But they never recalled newer G6’s, Chevrolet Malibus, or Saturn Auras until three weeks ago.
They all use the same system.
GM admits the faulty system caused 13 accidents and two injuries.
