Outlook Positive for Summer Business in Lake County

The summer weather is rolling in and that’s helping bring people and their money out to Northern Michigan.

Businesses in Lake County say they’ve already seen business pick up and expect it to continue through the summer.

The Wolf Lake Motel and Resort in Baldwin says so far they’ve already had a great start and only expect more business as the summer moves forward. Some of the resorts main attractions include Wolf Lake and the nearby ORV trails.

Just down the road, the Pere Marquette River Lodge says things are starting to pick for them as well. The businesses says some of the best fishing is about to roll in and that will help keep things busy. The lodge specializes in fly fishing and has everything from equipment to guides to teach you on the river.
