Police Fishing for Cars in Detroit River
Police are fishing for cars in the Detroit River, and so far they’ve pulled out more than a dozen.
Investigators say they have found at least 17 cars that had been dumped in the city’s main waterway.
About half of them were found Thursday, and police hope to recover the other half Friday.
Divers are searching each vehicle for bodies first.
Police suspect the cars were involved in crimes, so police will assign a case to each one.
