Teens Admit To Starting Dumpster Fires In Alpena

Police in Alpena say three teens admitted to starting two dumpster fires early Tuesday morning. The fire department quickly put the fires out on Taylor Street.

An investigation then led officers to the suspects walking on Ford Avenue.  They took off running, but were caught after a short chase.

They admitted to the fires, along with other crimes. Police arrested a 19 and 17-year-old. A 16-year-old was released to a parent. Charges are being sought against all three teenagers.
