MyNorthTickets Minute: Music, Acting and Comics

It’s that time of week again, we’re planning ahead for weekend events. And it’s a big one guys, Memorial Day Weekend. We’ve got three different events for celebrating, all brought to us by MyNorthTickets.com.

The first is just the tip of the iceberg for the season ahead, it’s the NautiCat’s first concert cruise of the summer. The band is Dragon Wagon, they’re a prime bluegrass group with mandolin, fiddle, banjo and more, and you can hop on the catamaran with them this Saturday.

That same day in Frankfort the Lakeside Shakespeare Theatre presents The Feast of Illyria. The event features a couple local musicians including Blake Elliott but you can also expect a little food and a silent auction.

But if you’re just waiting for fantasy to come to life, it’s the Cherry Capital Comic Con, aka C4. It is Michigan’s largest comic book and pop entertainment expo, all happening here at the Grand Traverse Resort, this Saturday. Great deals on comics and collectibles, lots of comic creators, fans, and pretty outrageous a costume contest.
