GM Recalls 2.4M More Vehicles

General Motors announced more recalls Tuesday.

The first recall involves 1.3 million cars and trucks that could have a problem with the front seat belt, which could separate from the car during a crash.

The second recall involves 1 million sedans with a shift cable that can wear out.

A third recall involves 1,400 new Cadillac Escalade SUVs with faulty air bags.

These bring the total recalls from GM to 13.6 million vehicles this year.

It has also ordered dealers not to sell new or used models of the vehicles until repairs are made.
