Educators Share Ideas at Project Learning Tree Conference
A special conference is happening in Grand Traverse County and is bringing people from across the globe to Northern Michigan.
The Project Learning Tree International Coordinators’ Conference kicked off on Monday in Traverse City.
After 28 years, this is the first time the conference has ever been held in Michigan.
Project Learning Tree is an international curriculum that empowers teachers to inspire students and get them outside.
Throughout the conference, educators will meet and share ideas that they can take back home and teach to students.
More than 100 educators will be in attendance from across the country and countries like Japan and Mexico.
9&10’s Breelynn Martin and Photojournalist Tony Zyber attended the conference.
