Doctors, Vets Ask Outdoor Lovers to Check for Ticks
Every spring doctors and veterinarians are busy with tick issues.
Removing them from pets or treating humans for disease.
The past few years the number of cases continues to rise.
This spring the reports have been delayed due to the cold harsh winter but they are starting to roll in as people start to venture out.
The key is to cover up exposed skin when walking through the woods and checking very closely when you get home to stop the problem before it starts.
