Events Around Northern Michigan
Every Friday at the touch screen we feature three different events happening around Northern Michigan for the weekend.
This weekend we have the 25th annual zoo-de-mack bike bash. It’s a collection of outdoor lovers who get together for exercise, parties, great bands and one of the most scenic bike rides in the country. It begins Saturday morning at Boyne Highlands Resort and travels 51 miles along Lake Michigan on a paved road. You stop half way through at the Legs Inn for lunch and then continue to Mackinaw City. You take the ferry to the island where you check into your hotel. It costs 70 dollars and includes a pre-ride party Friday night at the Zoo Bar at Boyne Highlands, luggage transportation to Mackinaw City, lunch, ferry transportation, the finish line party in Mackinaw City, and post ride parties on the island.
