Brandon Childress receives 9th Division I offer

Baldwin SG Brandon Childress (2015) received another scholarship offer on Friday.  Boston College of the ACC is the 9th Division I school to offer Childress a scholarship to play college basketball.

CMU is the only in-state school to extend an offer.  The Chips offer is two-fold with the option for Childress to play football as well.

Athletics isn’t the only thing high on Childress’ priority list.  He sports a 3.9 GPA and is hoping to major in Pre-Med.  Of the nine schools that have made an offer, Yale is the only one with a top-ranked medical program.

Childress went on an official visit to Michigan State in March and sent us the picture with head coach Tom Izzo.  However the Spartans are not one of the nine schools that have made a scholarship offer.

Childress expects to make his decision this fall before the start of high school basketball season.

Below is the full list of schools that have given an offer to Childress.
