It’s hard to believe we’re already into the third week of May. That means end of year school events and newly released spring wines. Jenny Buechel is here with the details on what’s going on from .

This Wednesday through Friday, Traverse City Central High School throws its 17th Annual . It’s a high-energy performance of popular music, all performed by the highly talented students of the school’s music programs.

On Saturday the Music House Museum in Williamsburg travels through the history of recorded sound in . The tour is guided by a music historian and benefits the restoration of the museum’s newest addition, a Jersey Shore amusement park organ rescued after Hurricane Sandy.

And capping off the weekend, the Wineries of Old Mission Peninsula invite you to . In addition to the wineries’ standard tasting lists, you’ll also sample this year’s featured unreleased wines. Your ticket includes a souvenir glass and tastings at all eight Old Mission wineries, and of course gorgeous views of greenery and blooming flowers. Yay spring!
