Planning Commission To Vote On TC Mall Construction
An update on the former Traverse City outlet mall. Construction could start as early as July.
The Garfield Township Planning Commission will vote this week on whether to grant the Planned Unit Development process, or PUD.
Property Manager Joseph Sarafa says it’s he needs to move forward.
If he gets approval in May, he will be able to start construction of a 14 screen movie theater this summer.
Sarafa hopes the theater will serve as an anchor property to spur other developments, and bring life back to this piece of real estate.
The commission meets for a vote on Wednesday.
