Detroit Adds New Inventory to Online House Auction
The City of Detroit is expanding it’s list of online auctions by adding two more neighborhoods in the effort to fight blight.
Open houses are scheduled this weekend for the Boston, Edison and Osborn areas. The city’s land bank will start auctioning two homes per day beginning May 27th.
More than 1,000 people toured 12 homes listed in the city’s East English Village two weeks ago.
Five homes were bought in the auction’s first week.
