Northern Michigan School Replaces 50-Year-Old Playground

A Northern Michigan school is finally getting a new playground.

The old playground equipment has been in use for more than 50 years.

Suttons Bay Elementary School is way overdue for new playground equipment and a dedicated group finally made it possible by raising more than $42,000. Today, they installed the new jungle jim in hopes of making a safer play environment for the kids.

Organizers hope to raise more money to add access and equipment for children with disabilities.
