Feedback at 5:00: Climate Change
This week, the White House released a new report on climate change.
It details weather around the US and warns conditions could be extreme in years to come.
The National Climate Assessment predicts Michigan and the Great Lakes will be part of warming and more extreme weather.
Across the nation, it talks about coastal storm surges, flooding, and crippling drought.
Scientists say no matter where you live, every American will feel the impact.
But critics call the assessment “alarmist” and that it means the nation will spend trillions of dollars to accomplish nothing.
Do you believe climate change is a significant issue, or do you agree with the “alarmist” assessment?
It’s today’s Feedback at 5:00.
