UPDATE: Paulsen Admits to Prostitution in Leelanau County

An update on a prostitution case in Leelanau County we first told you about last week.

Court records say Thomas Vandermehl set up appointments between clients and Tanya Paulsen at a motel near Suttons Bay.

The pair allegedly made money off of these meetings.

Paulsen pleaded guilty to prostitution and was sentenced to 93 days in jail.

She also pleaded guilty to driving with a suspended licence and using a controlled substance. Paulsen will be sentenced for those crimes on Friday.

Vandermehl is charged with human trafficking and prostitution.  He will be back in court on Friday as well.
