Power Outages Impacting Many Across Northern Michigan

Cherryland Electric, Great Lakes Energy and Consumers Electric are dealing with power outages right now.

Cherryland Electric says crews have restored power to nearly all customers, and say overnight crews will be ready to deal with any issues. You can check their Facebook page for details.

According to the Consumers Electric Outage Map, some people in Wexford County’s Haring Township remain without power. It was restored to all other customers in Northern Michigan. Check the map for specific locations and times.

Great Lakes Energy says strong, gusty winds caused tree-related power line damage. They restored power to all of their customers around 2 a.m., Tuesday. Check their website and click on Storm Central.
