Spring Skiing Continues At Boyne Mountain

You may be wishing for warmer spring temperatures, but in the meantime plenty of people are still taking advantage of some final runs on the slopes.

You can still find crowds skiing at Boyne Mountain in Boyne Falls of Charlevoix County.

Boyne Mountain has been open for more than five months now.
It's the only resort with chair lifts still spinning in the Lower Peninsula.
Rising temperatures melted some of the snow, but they say there is still lots of terrain to explore.
“We're excited to still be spring skiing, we're going to have 30 trails open this weekend, 6 chairlifts spinning and about 200 skiiable acres,” said Director of Communications Erin Ernst.
Boyne says they're already seeing large crowds in town for Easter weekend.
After this Sunday they will decide on a weekly basis to stay open on the weekends.
