Leelanau Co. Teacher Resigns After Kissing Student On Trip

The Superintendent at Suttons Bay says a high school Spanish teacher was in the Dominican Republic with some students when she kissed a student.
Amy Linck admits to kissing an 18-year-old student on the trip.
It's a violation of school policy, but not a crime because of the student's age.
Linck went with four students on this trip. The school sponsors these trips every other year due to budget restrictions. This year was an off-year.
Linck resigned on Thursday.
The superintendent says they expect teachers to be professional.
