Mecosta and Osceola Counties See Storm Damage

Mecosta and Osceola Counties saw serious damage from Saturday's storm.

Osceola County has washed out roads and some damage, but Mecosta County is in bad condition.

Roads are washed out, power lines are down for some, and homes and barns have damage. Many families in the rural town of Paris in Mecosta County completely lost their barns. They say they heard hail and loud winds. When they looked outside around 9 p.m., the damage had already ripped through.

While there was NOT a tornado in the area, many say it looks like one came through town.

Other towns throughout Mecosta county, like Big Rapids saw damage too. Many creeks and rivers have over flown, causing flooding in people's yards.
