HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius Resigns

WASHINGTON (AP) — A White House official says Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius is resigning.

Her resignation comes just a week after the president's health care enrollment period closes.

The health care website struggled in the beginning, but strongly rebounded by enrolling over 7 million people for health insurance.

Sebelius has served as the HHS secretary since the beginning of the Obama administration.
