Former Food Services Manager at Munson Accused of Embezzlement

Thousands of dollars is missing from Munson Medical Center, and the former manager of food and nutrition services accused of taking it.

Right now, there is a warrant out for Jeffrey Ales' arrest.

Jeffery Ales was employed by Sodexo – the company contracted by Munson Medical Center to oversee their food and nutrition services.

He was working at Munson from May of 2008 until October of last year – when they realized there may be a problem.

Court records show Ales admitted to buying MasterCard gift cards with company money, and then using those for personal purposes that had nothing to do with work.

Munson's spokesperson says Ales is accused of embezzling about $27,000 dollars.
