Feedback at 5:00: Blizzard Bags

Plenty of Northern Michigan students were home from
school more than usual with the rough winter we just
experienced.

Snow days were
spread throughout the nation this year and one district is sending
students home with “blizzard bags” to try and play
catch-up.

The workload
includes assignments in every subject.

Toledo Public School
administrators say it's extensive and takes the place of three days of classes
missed because of winter weather.

Students have
two weeks to complete the work and have to turn it in after spring break. If
they don't turn it in, it's counted as a zero in
class.

Does your
district have to make up school hours because of snow
days?

Do you think
the blizzard bags are a good idea?
