Across the country people celebrated Autism Awareness Day, including those in the Traverse City community.

Every year on April second 'Autism Speaks' celebrates 'Light It Up Blue' in commemoration of World Autism Awareness Day.

In honor of the day, many iconic landmarks, venues, and museums are among the thousands of buildings lit blue to raise Autism Awareness.

Many people in northern Michigan are saying one of the best “Light It Up Blue” demonstrations in Traverse City.

A local man's son has Autism and decorated all of his trees blue and also put a big puzzle piece, the symbol for Autism Awareness in his yard.
