Man Formally Charged In Manistee For Stealing From Cars, Using Stolen Credit Card

The man accused of stealing items from cars and using a stolen credit card is formally charged for the crimes.

The thefts happened in Manistee in July 2013.

That's where police say Brandon Ireland broke into several cars and used one of the credit cards to buy food at McDonalds.

A judge charged Ireland with stealing and retaining a financial device without consent, having stolen property, and driving on a suspended license.
Police say Ireland also stole cash, an iPod and jewelry.
