Public Hearing Held to Discuss Plans for Proposed Jordan River Project
A proposed project would remove two culverts in the Jordan River, and replace them with a bridge.
Developers say the culverts cause some problems with river flow in East Jordan.
But some think the project is unnecessary.
They say they're worried about what a project this big would do to the river quality.
But others feel this is a good way to help the river, make it safer for wildlife, and more usable for people.
Friends of the Jordan River Watershed say this project still has a long way to go, and they're exploring a number of grants to help pay for it.
