UPDATE: US In Europe To Discuss Support For Ukraine

AMSTERDAM (AP) — President Obama is in Amsterdam talking to European allies about the crisis in Ukraine. 

The president is meeting with leaders of the G-7 to ask for harsher economic sanctions against Russia. 

The US has already delivered sanctions against some Russian leaders. 
 Ukrainian armed forces withdrew from Crimea Monday.
 Russian troops have taken over majority of the military posts within the Crimean peninsula. 
 Russia annexed Crimea last week after a referendum both the west and Ukraine say was illegal. 
 “Europe and America are united in our support of the Ukrainian government and the Ukrainian people. We're united in opposing accost on Russia for its actions so far.”
World leaders are also meeting today at a nuclear security summit.
