More Snowy Weather Means Less For Summer Road Projects

With more snow on the way, Northern Michigan road commissions are bracing themselves for another expensive week.

The budget has been an ongoing issue for the Missaukee County Road Commission. So far they've burned through at least a third of their summer budget thanks to overtime, salt and sand usage, and fuel.

The more money spent now, means less money for summer projects, and winter doesn't seem close to being over.

According to the Missaukee County Road Commission, they're ready for the weather this week and will tackle it just like any other storm.
