School Bus Stuck in Snow Drift for 2 Hours

Several school districts decided to close again today, as the rough winter conditions just don't seem to be letting up.

One of the districts that opened today had a school bus get stuck in a snow drift.

The Mt. Pleasant school bus sat with students on board for two hours on Lincoln Road in Isabella Township.

The snowdrift was more than a foot deep and once it stopped the bus, the ice underneath kept it from going again.

Five uninjured students were on the bus and kept warm.

Road crews worked to free the bus and clear the roads before the students finally made it to school.

9&10 News' Eric Lloyd and photojournalist Tony Zyber spoke to the mother of one of the stuck students and has more details.
