Leelanau Co. Residents and Deputies Prepare for More Snow

One area that hasn't seen much reprieve from the winter snow machine – Leelanau County.

It's a trend that's not looking like it will let up anytime soon.

Sutton's Bay of Leelanau County saw 13 inches of snowfall Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, and more is on the way tonight.

The sheriff's department says they've adjusted shifts to accommodate the influx of calls and weather-related car accidents.

In addition to warning motorists to drive with a lot more caution over the next few days, they're also advising people stock up on certain supplies before bad weather hits.

But according to local stores, it's advice many seem to already be following.

9&10's Marisa McKay and photojournalist Jeremy Erickson spent the day in Sutton's Bay and Leland to learn how people were preparing for yet another snow storm.
