Target Releases Apology For Security Breach

After a massive security breach involving millions, Target is apologizing to it's customers and offering action.

The data breach was first reported over the holidays.

On top of the 40-million customers whose credit cards were compromised, the same hackers stole the names, mailing address, emails and phone numbers from an additional 70 million customers, which may include online shoppers.

Target released a letter of apology Monday that includes an offer for a year of free credit monitoring for those affected.
